What is KartVantage?
KartVantage is a Shopify cart-rules app operated by Ewebster Infotech. It combines rule management in Shopify Admin, guidance through theme blocks, and supported checkout validation through Shopify Functions.
Which rules are included in Core?
Minimum and maximum cart subtotal, minimum and maximum total item count, and minimum and maximum quantities for selected products. Supported customer-tag exclusions are also available.
Is KartVantage free?
The initial Core release is free. It has no subscription, usage-based fee, one-time app charge, paid unlock, or external payment requirement. Future offerings may have different pricing with the required Shopify approvals.
Is KartVantage available in the Shopify App Store?
Use the get-started page to find the current installation path or contact the team about availability.
Can a product rule combine quantities across variants?
Yes. Selected-product quantities are aggregated across variants and duplicate cart lines. Check mixed carts when testing your policy.
Does a product minimum force every cart to contain that product?
No. A selected-product minimum is checked when the selected product is present. It is not a requirement for every cart to contain that product.
Can I exclude certain customers?
Supported checkout rules allow customer-tag exclusions. Test both matching and nonmatching customer cases before publishing.
Will it work in my cart drawer?
Compatibility depends on the theme and cart surface. Test your specific cart drawer and use a compatible cart-page placement when needed. The website does not claim universal theme compatibility.
Do cart blocks enforce checkout rules?
No. Theme blocks provide advisory guidance. Supported published Shopify Function rules provide authoritative checkout enforcement.
Can I test rules before publishing?
Yes. Use the app’s draft testing flow, then confirm the full storefront and checkout journey with passing and blocking carts.
Does a maximum prevent repeat orders?
A cart maximum limits that cart or order. It does not impose a lifetime or identity-based purchase limit across multiple orders.
Does Core include AI recommendations?
No. AI actions, advanced personalization, and advanced analytics are outside the initial Core scope.
What happens when I uninstall?
App sessions are removed and synchronization stops. App-owned shop data is deleted through Shopify’s mandatory shop-redaction process, subject to limited legally required retention. See the privacy policy.
